This month’s retained update focuses on World Mental Health Day (10 October) and Fire Safety, including practical guidance on managing fire safety responsibilities, including fire risk assessments, alarm testing, fire drills, fire doors, signage requirements, maintenance schedules, and training arrangements. We have also included a useful fire safety audit schedule to help organisations monitor compliance throughout the year.
In recognition of World Mental Health Day, we have highlighted the importance of creating workplaces where people feel comfortable discussing their wellbeing and where conversations about mental health are encouraged and supported.
A range of supporting fire safety resources are also available to download via the DCP S&T Retainer Client Portal.
