CDM Awareness

Course Aim

Everyone has duties to fulfill under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, including Clients, Contractors and Consultants.  

This half day course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the CDM Regulations.

Location

The course can be conducted within your own premises, to a maximum of 10 delegates, or alternatively you could be added to one of our open courses run at a designated venue.

Requirements for training

A basic knowledge of the current 2015 Regulations is required for anyone attending this course.
Good understanding of spoken and written English. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.
A valid form of ID, such as a copy of your passport or driving license.

Definitions and applications
Key roles and responsibilities – Client, Designer, Principal Designer, Principle Contractor and Contractors
Site safety requirements inclusive of the Construction Phase Plan
Pre-construction information
The health and safety file

Course material

All courses include manuals, handouts/worksheets.

Certification

Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance on successful completion of the course.
