Temporary Works Awareness

Course Aim

This one day course is designed to provide training for those in temporary works such as Temporary Works Co-ordinators (TWC) or Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS) whilst it is also of benefit to Site Managers/ Supervisors, Contracts Managers and construction design consultants.

The aim is to ensure delegates gain a broad understanding of what constitutes temporary works and how to support good industry practice with regard to temporary works

Location

The course can be conducted within your own premises, to a maximum of 10 delegates, or alternatively you could be added to one of our open courses run at a designated venue.

Requirements for training

The course is aimed at those with a limited knowledge of temporary works.
Good understanding of spoken and written English. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.
A valid form of ID, such as a copy of your passport or driving license.

What does temporary works cover.
What are the legal requirements and who is responsible.
Implementation (Design / Installation / Dismantling).
Role of Temporary Works Co-ordinator. Plus other associated roles.

All courses include manuals, handouts/worksheets.
